A simple country made gaming board.
Popular in medieval times, with stone "boards" found in abbeys and castles, even on wooden pews in some churches!
A game for two players. A clear board to start, with counters placed on in turn. The aim is to make a "Mill", three in a row, by moving counters to adjoining holes.
An opponents piece is removed for every Mill made.
A forerunner to Noughts and Crosses?
9 black + 9 white "Marbles" included, not contemporary to the board.
